When Reconciliation may not be possible

Ephesians 4: 31-32 New Living Translation

Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words and slander, as well as all types of evil behaviour. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.

Romans 12: 18 New Living Translation

Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone

Our Father, You commanded us to forgive others and we know that, with your help, this is always possible. We find, though, that we also need your help with reconciliation. Help us to search our hearts and do all we can to bring it about. Often, this is difficult for us when bad feeling exists in either party … so, Father, please give us the wisdom and the grace to know when to step away for a while and give the process to you to work out in your own time.

Wrap each and all of us in your loving arms.

In Jesus Name, Amen
