God’s Blessings And Promises

A ROSE FROM OUR GARDEN

From his abundance we have all received one gracious blessing after another. For the law was given through Moses, but God’s unfailing love and faithfulness came through Jesus Christ.

HORSES FROM NEARBY STABLES

But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength.

They will soar high on wings like eagles.

They will run and not grow weary.

They will walk and not faint.

Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

A FLOWER OF THE WILD GARLIC IN BELLBURN WOODS, COUNTY DURHAM, ENGLAND

Let all that I am praise the Lord;

may I never forget the good things he does for me.

 He forgives all my sins

    and heals all my diseases.

He redeems me from death

and crowns me with love and tender mercies.

He fills my life with good things.

My youth is renewed like the eagle’s!

psalm 103: 2-5 new living translation
BISHOP AUCKLAND, COUNTY DURHAM, ENGLAND

May the Lord bless you

    and protect you.

May the Lord smile on you

    and be gracious to you.

May the Lord show you his favor

    and give you his peace.’

The photographs were taken by me and are some special moments of blessings.

Our Father,

Thank You for the blessings You pour out upon us day by day, the necessary things we need to stay fit and healthy – food, drink and fresh air, clothing, shelter, fellowship with others, and the medical services that are at our disposal.

Thank You, LORD, for what we may regard as the ‘smaller’ and ‘extra’ gifts and, yet, these are the very blessings that enrich our lives – the countryside around us, towns and cities with all the cultural interest that they hold, flowers, animals, birds, fish and even the tiny remarkable insects.

Most of all, Father, thank You for Your love, faithfulness and grace, and for the most precious gift of all – the LORD Jesus Christ, the Messiah – who paid the price for our sin and died a shameful death on the cross to reconcile us to You. Help us, by the guidance of Your Holy Spirit, to remember this daily, hour by hour, minute by minute, so that we may grow in Your love and glorify You.

In Jesus Name, Amen.
